William "Detroit Bill" Pinion Obituary

William “Detroit Bill” Pinion, 69, passed away on Tuesday May 25th, 2021 at his home with his devoted wife Shelia by his side. Marshall Memorial Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

William was preceded in death by his parents.

Detroit Bill made a trip to Alabama nearly 10 years ago to take care of a sick brother. While he was here, the lovely Shelia Holcomb caught his eye and his heart. He swept her off her feet and remained here until he passed.

William is survived by his soulmate Shelia Pinion, his sons Brian DeHart, Anthony DeHart and Billy Byron and his special friend Rick Preston.

Detroit Bill also is survived by his friends that he considered family.
