Mary Lou (Teal) Duvall

Mary Lou Duvall, 83, of Albertville passed away at Albertville Nursing Home and Rehab on Tuesday January 26th, 2021.  Graveside services will be Friday, January 29th, 2021 at 1:00pm at Marshall Memory Gardens with Jerry Burdett officiating.  Marshall Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Dean, Doc Wilder, Casey Smith, Anders Wilder and Austin Wilder.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years Clarence Duvall; her daughter Shelia Smith and her son in law Terry Smith; her parents Earnest and Goldie Slaton Teal; and her sister Juanette Gray.

Mrs. Duvall was born in Marshall County and was a lifelong resident.  Mary Lou, or Maw Maw, had a contagious smile and loved to shop.  Her door was always open, she loved to cook for her family and friends.

She is survived by her son Rodney Duvall; 3 grandchildren Kelly Dean (Patrick), Heather Wilder (Doc), and Casey Smith (Laurel); 6 great-grandchildren:  Austin Wilder (Emmy), Taylor Dean, Amberleigh Dean, Amidy Wilder, Anders Wilder and Finley Smith and 1 great-great-grandchildren Angelynn Wilder.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Albertville Nursing Home as well as Shepard’s Cove Hospice for the care they provided for her.
