John Earl Bagwell

John Earl Bagwell, 88, of Blountsville, passed away Saturday, November 13th, 2021, with his sister by his side.  Marshall Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.  Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 17th, 2021, at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Marshall Memorial Gardens. The eulogy will be given by Charlotte Booth.

Pallbearers will be:  Steve Creel, Dave Creel, Jason Strickland, Sam Lide, Michael Bagwell and Josh Bagwell.

John Earl was preceded in death by his companion Gladys Murphree; his parents Monroe and Mattie Bagwell; 2 brothers Noland Bagwell and Calvin Bagwell and his sister Frances Woods and his nephew Danny Gresham.

John Earl loved rabbit hunting with his beagles; and he loved to play the guitar, sing, and dance. 

John Earl is survived by his sister Bonnie Westra and her husband Kenneth; and his brother Keneth Bagwell, and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 16th, 2021, at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home.
