Jeffery Scott Simmons

Jeffery Scott Simmons, 52, of Albertville passed away on Tuesday, March 21st, 2023, with his loving family by his side.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 23rd, 2023, at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home with Brother Jeff Lybrand officiating.  Burial will follow in Marshall Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Wayne Roden, Dewayne Wray, Toby Burgess, Frank Jenkins, Brody Wayne Roden and Robert Simmons

Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Scott was born and raised in Albertville, where he attended the Albertville School System.  After he left school, he worked in construction until his health became too bad for him to work.  He had 3 children Blake Simmons: Heath Baker and Heather Vaught.

Scott was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt.  If he was able, you could always find him in the woods or at water somewhere living his best life.

Scott is survived by his children; Blake Simmons and his wife Carly; Heather Vaught and her husband Alex; and Heath Baker and his wife Sydney; special friend Tammy Spears; 5 grandchildren; his parents Willie Simmons and his wife Deborah and Diane Centers and her husband Arab and his brother Chris Simmons and his wife April.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Shepard's Cove Hospice.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 23rd at 1:30 pm until the start of the service at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home.
