Diane Ellen Hollingsworth

Tuscaloosa, AL - Diane Ellen Hollingsworth, age 65 of Tuscaloosa, AL, passed away at DCH Hospital in Tuscaloosa from COVID-19 on February 3, 2021. Diane was born in Detroit, MI on November 30, 1955 and was raised in Clawson, MI, graduating from Clawson High School. After attending Western Michigan University and a tour with the US Navy, Diane moved to Guntersville, AL, where her parents had moved to after her father retired from General Motors. She subsequently moved to Tuscaloosa where she lived the last 28 years. Diane was a Life Member of the Disabled American Veterans. She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Joe Hollingsworth; her mother, Helen Mildred Hollingsworth; and her brother, Ronald Norman Hollingsworth. She is survived by her brother, Gregory Hollingsworth of New Orleans; sisters Darlyn Moore of Redondo Beach, CA; Denise Rein (James) of Oxford, MI; Dawna Schwab (Charles) of Troy, MI; a sister-in-law, Sue Hollingsworth of Huntsville, AL; and 13 nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service will be conducted on February 18 at 11 AM by Marshall Memorial Gardens  in Albertville, AL.
