Dennis Collafus Buchanan

Dennis Collafus Buchanan Jr., born on January 23, 1968 passed away on November 1, 2022. Visitation will be at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home on Friday November 4th, 2022 from 12-2 p.m. with service following at 2 p.m.

Dennis loved building and flying his model airplanes. He had such of a passion for building and making things in his woodworking shop and working with his tractor. Dennis loved his family dearly; his kids were his pride and joy. He loved his country and the military which he served in and was a rigger. He was a very respectful, strong and loving man to everyone he came in contact with, and never met a stranger. When he started something, he always finished. He enjoyed his job, traveling, and building bridges all over the southeast. There is no doubt he will be missed by all who touched his heart, including his close co workers.

He is preceded in death by his father Dennis Buchanan; brother Kevin Buchanan; Arnie and Gladys Buchanan and several aunts and uncles

He is survived by his loving wife Carolyn Buchanan; sons Adam and Jimmy; daughters Kelsey Hill, Leisha Payton, Laura Littrel; grandchildren Marley, Abby, Jake; Fur babies Pixie, Gizmo, Lady, Journey, Milo and Buddy

Pallbearers will be Adam Buchanan, Chris and Rex Webb, Ethan Payton, Brad McClintock

Officiating will be Thamas Mahan
