Deidra Leanne (Moore) Davis

Deidra L. Davis, 53, passed away Sunday August 15th, 2021, at Marshall Medical Center North.  Marshall Memorial Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.  Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 18th, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Marshall Memorial Gardens.

Deidra was preceded in death by her father Elmer Lee Moore; her mother Gywn McAllister; her brother Michael McAllister; and nephew Ryan McAllister.

Deidra was born and raised in Horton area, except for the year she lived in Indiana.  She absolutely hated living in Indiana and was happy when she moved back to Alabama.

She was a talented craftswoman who enjoyed building and creating different things with her hands.  She could sing and her family always enjoyed hearing her beautiful voice.  She was a devoted Mom who dedicated her life to raising her two sons. 

Deidra met the love of her life nearly 12 years ago and Eddie convinced her to marry him 5 years ago.  Deidra and Eddie loved spending time with each other and where you found one, you typically would find the other.

Deidra is survived by her soulmate Eddie Davis; her sons LaDon Wilson and Daniel Wilson and his wife Carmen; her chosen father Gene McAllister; her brothers and sisters:  David, Marty, Donnie, Brenda, and Hillary.

The family will receive friends from 12 pm until the start of the service on Wednesday at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home.
