Brenda Faye (Plott) Brown

Brenda Faye Brown, 80, of Guntersville passes away Tuesday, April 11th, 2023.  Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday April 15th, 2023, at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home.  Brother Tommy Mashburn will officiate.   Burial will follow afterwards in Marshall Memory Gardens.

She was preceded in death by her husband:  MT Brown; parents Bryan Plott and Maggie Belle conner; her brothers:  Freddie Plott, Jessie (Leon) Plott, and Bryan Plott Jr; sisters:  Billie Nowlin, Erna Lee Dixon, Juanita Plott and Glenda Welch

Mrs. Brown was a longtime resident of Guntersville, having lived here since 1989.  She previously had resided in Huntsville. 

She was raised in Ooltewah TN and attended Ooltewah High School.

Her husband, MT and she were founders, owners, and operators of Browns Carpet Cleaning of Huntsville for 21 years.  She will be remembered as a gifted quilt maker and for loving her Alabama football team.

Mrs. Brown was a member of Poplar Springs Fellowship Church.

Survivors include her son:  Tommy (Renee) Brown of Huntsville; three sisters:  Jean Henderson of Lampasas, TX; Sharon Kay (Carl) Wust of Conyers, GA; and Maurine Hawkins of Chattanooga; brother Marvin (Debbie) Plott of Ooltewah; grandchildren:  Brittany (David) Brown Ballew; Brandon (Mallory) Brown; Rachel (Josh) Miller; 2 great-grandchildren Mackenzie and Caden (Caveman) Ballew and several step-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 15th, 2023 until the start of the service at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home.
