Billy Young

Billy Young, age 70, passed away on October 9th,2022.

Visitation will be held at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home on October 10th from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., Tuesday October 11th from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. and Wednesday 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. with service starting at 2 p.m.

Billy was an avid Nascar and Alabama football fan all his life. He loved his fur babies but more importantly he loved his grandbabies dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Rozella Young and a host of family and friends

He is survived by his wife of 43 years Kandy Young; Daughters JoAnn Richards (Jerry), Dona Young, Carrie Morris (Harold), Tina Harriel (Jammie); son Michael Young (Pete); brothers Henry Young (Martha) , James Young (Sheila); sisters Gene Alexy (Bob),  Linda Morrow, Francis Hale (Roger); grandbabies Lela, Ashley, Amber, Maleah, Matthew, Ashley, Breana, Georgia, JJ, Lyndsey, Bruce, Jeremy, Nikki, Latta; and 17 great grandbabies and a host of nieces and nephews

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Marshall County

Pallbearers will be: Jerry Richards, Roger Thompson, Jessie Thompson, Jammie Harriel, Amanda Thompson, Wade Bawgus, and James Martin

Honorary pallbearer will be Amber Young

Visitation will be Monday 4-8 p.m., Tuesday 9-8 p.m. and Wednesday 9-2 p.m. with funeral service following
