Annie Bankston Obituary

Annie Bankston, 76, of Guntersville passed away Thursday December 10th, 2020 at Marshall Medical Center South. Marshall Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Annie was preceded in death by her husband Joe Ray Bankston, her son Jonathan Bankston; her parents RB and Rena Johnson and her brother Bobby Johnson.

Annie never met a stranger and could charm anyone that she met. She loved meeting new people and adopting them into her family. She was a wonderful seamstress who created many family heirlooms for her family.

Annie is survived by her children Terry Bankston, Freida Taft and her friend Edward Ashley; and Michael Bankston; her grandchildren Hannah Campbell and Ashley Veasy and her friend Dustin Holsonback; and 4 great-grandchildren; and her sister Martha Jean.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to either Marshall Memorial Funeral Home or gofundme.com.
