Voncyle Everitt Reeves

Voncyle Everitt Reeves, 89, passed away on Saturday, August 17th at Barfield Health Care. Marshall Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. The family will hold a private Celebration of Life at a later date. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Foundation would be appreciated.

Voncyle, known to most as Vonnie, was preceded in death by her daughters Christie Beck and Donna Horesh, her granddaughter, Caitlin Terry, her parents, Bud and Jewel Everitt, and her close friend, Sam Blair.

Mrs. Reeves was born and raised in Alabama, where she lived most of her life. She loved working in her garden and growing beautiful flowers, and she enjoyed travel, music, hummingbirds, painting and ceramics.

Voncyle is survived by her children: Howard Reeves (Linda), Robyn Rhodarmer, and Alana Wolfe (Danny), along with her 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
