Ron Wood

Ron Wood, 64, of Guntersville passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday May 12th, 2021 in Pell City.  Graveside Services will be held Friday May 14th, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home and Marshall Memorial Gardens.

Ron was preceded in death by his loving wife Shelley Wood; his mother Dearleen Mashburn and his brother.

Ron was a lifelong resident of Alabama who was very independent, especially after the loss of his wife Shelley.  He was employed by Mid-West Logistics of Boaz, where he drove semi-trucks around the state.

Ron is survived by his daughter Mary Melton and his son Michael Barnes; his grandchildren Hannah and Ethan Melton and his step-dad Houston Mashburn.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:00 pm until the start of the service.
