Roger Isbill, 85, of Union Grove, Alabama, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones on June 11, 2026. He was born on June 23, 1940.
Roger enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and was happiest when he was outdoors. He loved working in his yard and spending time on the front porch watching the hummingbirds and enjoying the fresh air. When not outside, you would find him in his favorite recliner watching the Braves, Alabama football, and NASCAR racing.
More than anything, Roger cherished his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He loved spending time with family and will be remembered for his love, kindness, strong work ethic, and the many memories he created with those he loved.
While he will be deeply missed, his family finds peace and comfort in knowing that Roger had a strong faith in the Lord and is now resting in the loving arms of his Heavenly Father.
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake.” Psalm 23:1-3
Preceded in death by his parents, Lucile and Osburn Isbill.
Survived by his wife, Nancy Sue Isbill, his brother, James Isbill, his children, Mandy Roberts, Randy (Tina) Isbill, Rodney Isbill, Wayne (Michelle) Cox, Susan (Craig) Miller, and Vicki Cox. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
