Paul Naylor

Matthew 25:21 (KJV) 'His Lord said unto him, 'Well done, thou good and faithful servant! Thou hast been faithful over a few things. I will make thee ruler of many things: Enter thou into the joy of thy Lord!' '

We honor and celebrate a life well lived with dedication, hard work and a faithful spirit; a life of faithful stewardship, everyday actions of kindness and devotion; a life well lived in the service to others and to God.

Paul was a dedicated member of Rocky Branch Holiness Church. His love for the Lord was spoken of often and was a light shown daily. The church, his church family, his wife Jill and his family were deeply loved by Paul. He enjoyed reading the word of God, watching Alabama football, fishing, walking the local trade days and spending time with his family. He loved to fellowship- sitting around talking, eating good food, ice cream and banana pudding. 

Paul was married to his wife Jill for 45 years. Together they enjoyed a life with 6 children and their spouses, 15 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. 

Paul was a man of strength, dignity and humbleness. He was a man that will always be loved, honored and remembered.  

Paul is survived by his daughters: Pamela Baugh, Tammy (Ray) Franklin, Donna (Mark) Hampton, Jill (Ricky) Gargus; sons: Robert Sparks and Donald (Shirley) Sparks; sister; Betty Bowen; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. 

He is preceded in death by wife Mary (Jill) Naylor; parents Barney Nailer and Gertrude Peterson Nailer; sisters: Pauline Owens, Helen Fowler; Brothers: David Nailer, Jackie Nailer; Grandson: Jeremy Baugh.

The family will accept friends on Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 12 noon until 2pm at the Rocky Branch Holiness Church. The funeral will be held at 2pm at Rocky Branch Holiness Church with James Bridges and Matt Long officiating. Interment will follow at Marshall Memorial Gardens in Albertville.
