Patricia "Pat" Smith

Patricia "Pat" Smith, a cherished and beloved figure in her community, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026, at Shepherd's Cove Hospice. Born on December 16, 1936, in Alabama, Pat's life was marked by deep family devotion, resilience, and a generous spirit that touched all who knew her.

Pat was preceded in death by her devoted husband, James Smith; her beloved children, Joy Smith, Karen Smith, and Terry Smith; her brother Lavon Jackson; her parents, Fennell and Eula Jackson; as well as numerous cherished aunts and uncles. Their memories remain a cherished part of her enduring legacy.

She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Pamela Stephen; her brother, Tommy Jackson; and an extended family of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends who were blessed to share in her warmth and love.

A visitation will be held on June 20, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Marshall Memorial Funeral Home, located at 3368 AL Hwy 205 N in Albertville, Alabama. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the same location.

Pat’s family and friends will remember her as a pillar of strength and kindness, whose legacy will live on through the lives she touched. The community mourns the loss of a remarkable woman whose enduring spirit and love have left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know her. Her memory will be honored and treasured by many.
