Patches Ford

Patches Ford, born July 1, 1981, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2026. Her life was marked by love, devotion, and a spirit cherished by all who knew her.

She was a beloved wife to Patrick Gross, whose partnership was a pillar of strength and companionship. Patches was the nurturing mother of two devoted daughters, Jayda Ford and Sarah Gross-Ford, who carry forward her legacy with grace and resilience. Her family expanded with the warm embrace of her son, Jessie Gross, and daughter-in-law, Sarah Gross, who shared in the joys and sorrows of life alongside her.

Her love for her grandchildren was boundless, touching the lives of Scarlett Skinner, Ryan Patrick Gross, Darian Dewayne, and Micah Zayne, each bearing the light of her care and affection in their hearts. Among her siblings, she is survived by brothers Chris Ford, Tony Ford, and John Ford, who remain part of the loving family circle she held dear.

Patches’s life was also enriched by the enduring friendship of Jeff Stanfield, a close companion who stood by her side through many chapters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Ford and Linda Tilley, whose memories she treasured deeply. The family also mourns the loss of her brother, Terry Ford, and her niece, Tiffany Kelley Ford, who join her in rest.

A visitation in honor of Patches will be held on May 22, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Marshall Memorial Funeral Home, located at 3368 AL Hwy 205 N in Albertville, Alabama. A funeral service will follow on May 23, 2026, beginning at 2:00 p.m., also at the Marshall Memorial Funeral Home.
