Mary I. Walker

Mrs. Mary Walker age 93 of Albertville passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013 at her residence surrounded by family and friends. Her funeral was Saturday, April 27th at 2 pm in the chapel of Marshall Memorial Funeral Home. Burial followed in Marshall Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Walker leaves behind her children: J.T. Walker and his wife Wanda, David Walker and his wife Sandy, Terry Walker and his wife Gwen, Dorothy Edmonds, Gaynell Young and her husband James and Wanda Lee and husband Odell. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Emma Ashley, husband Herbert Walker, brothers: W.J. Ashley and his wife Connie, Welton Ashley, Alton Ashley and his wife Maxine and one son-in-law Gene Edmonds. Brothers J.T. Nash and Hal Mahan officiated. Pallbearers were: Phillip Brown, Jake Freeman, Chris Williams, Buck Irving, Justin Baumet, Cory Spurlin, Rod Scisco, Eddie Edmonds and James Young Jr.
