Loyce Ann Bearden, 85, of Albertville, AL passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, June 15th, 2025, surrounded by her devoted family.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 19th, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Marshall Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m., prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be:  Keith McDuffie; Scott Head; Chris Head; Neil Johnson; Tommy Johnson and Steve Johnson.

Born to the late Theo and Ruth Johnson, Loyce was also preceded in death by her siblings: Bobby Johnson, Windell Johnson, Coy Johnson, Barney Johnson, Louise Johnson McDuffie, and Hazel Colvin and special niece Sherry Griep.

Loyce cherished her family deeply. They were the heart of her life, and she found immense joy and fulfillment in their company. A loving mother, grandmother, and sister, she leaves behind her beloved sons Mike and Adam Bearden: granddaughter Jacey Bearden; and her brother, Gerald Johnson. She is also survived by a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss her warmth and kindness.

A faithful member of Antioch Baptist Church, Loyce found great strength and joy in her faith and church family. Worship and fellowship were cornerstones of her life, and she cherished every opportunity to gather with her church community.

Loyce also enjoyed traveling, especially to Gatlinburg and the beach—places where she could relax and make cherished memories with her loved ones.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to her caregiver, LaShawna Matthews, and all of her hospice nurses for their compassionate care and support.

Loyce’s legacy of love, faith, and devotion to family will live on in all who knew her.
