Kimberly Ann “Kim” McCarty, age 58, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home, with Brother Cotton Igou officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the start of the service.

Kim was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Peggy McAllister, and her brother-in-law, Gerald Downey.

She is survived by her loving boyfriend of 30 years, Randall Giles; her brother, Ken McAllister; her sister, Kathy Downey; her nieces and nephews, Dalton McAllister, Whitney McAllister, Harley McAllister, Jordan Downey, and Destiny Downey; and her cherished great-nieces and great-nephews, Jaxon, Aleck, Colton, Luther, and Marylou.

Kim was born in Indiana and later made Alabama her home. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), a career that reflected her caring heart and desire to help others. She loved traveling, especially trips to the mountains with Randall, creating memories they both treasured.

Known as the family photographer, Kim had a gift for capturing moments that will now be remembered forever. She enjoyed diamond art, loved dolphins, and proudly checked off a lifelong bucket list item when she had the chance to pet one. A devoted Auburn fan, Kim cheered faithfully for her team.

Above all, Kim will be remembered as a sweet, kind, and genuinely good woman whose love for her family and those around her was evident in everything she did. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, joy, and treasured memories.

Marshall Memorial Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Kim McCarty.
