One of her nieces wrote a beautiful tribute about Keri:
“you were alive five seconds ago.
You were here five minutes ago.
You laughed with someone five hours ago.
You gave someone one of your hugs five minutes ago.
You walked in the door at Maw-Maw’s house five months ago.
Yesterday you were part of the planning.
Now we make arrangements without you.
Yesterday you were smiling and hugging people so tight.
Now we bury your lifeless body.
A strong woman, a wonderful wife, a magnificent mom, a loving grandma, an exuberant aunt, a kind soul.
We will always remember you.
We will always cherish you.
We will always look for you walking in the door.”
