John McIntyre

John McIntyre, 81, of Arab passed away at Huntsville Hospital on Thursday, November 28th, 2024.  Marshall Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangement's.  Graveside Services will be held at Brookwood Cemetery at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024.  

John was preceded in death by his loving wife Sharon; his parents Walter and Lois; his siblings Roy, Charles, Dorothy and Delores.

Mr. McIntyre was a huge sports fan and enjoyed relaxing and watching his favorite teams.  He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.  He was a hard-working man of few words, who would help others without anyone asking help from him.  He would do anything for anyone to help make their lives easier.  

John is survived by his children:  Dennis, Tammy, Deanna and Jennifer; his brothers Walter, Tom and Kenneth; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandhildren.

The family will receive friends at Brookwood Cemetery from 12:30 pm until the start of the service.
