Jerry Daniel Maddux

Jerry Daniel Maddux, 80 of Cornelius, NC. passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at

Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, N.C. He was proceeded in death by his parents

Daniel and Nell Maddux of Denver, N.C.

There will be a graveside service at Marshall Memorial Gardens at 11:30 AM.

Jerry is survived by his wife Heidi of Cornelius, N.C., a son Daniel Maddux of Titusville, Fl.

and stepdaughter Carola Casey of Wisconsin. Grandchildren, Jessica Bertrand (William) of

Covington, Louisiana, Shane Maddux (Charlene) of Cocoa Beach, FL., and step-

grandchildren Kyler, Katie and Kelby Casey of Minnesota. Great grandchildren Alayna

Golden, Baylee and Braxton Bertrand, and Emilia and Eliana Maddux. Jerry was also

survived by his sister, Judi Maddux and nephew Shane Rogers both of Zebulon, Ga.

Mr. Maddux was born on September 30, 1944, in Albertville, Al. He graduated from Baker

High School, Mobile, Al in 1962 and attended Auburn University. Jerry served in Vietnam as

an NSA Specialist E5 where he was stationed for most of his service in Saigon. He was a

proud Veteran.

He worked up until his retirement as a computer programmer and analyst.

Jerry was known for humor and quick wit and was loved by all that knew him.
