Infant Maelis Negrete

With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Infant Maelis Negrete, who was born and departed on May 13, 2026. Though her time with us was brief, the impact of her life, however fleeting, is deeply felt by all who knew her.

Maelis was the cherished daughter of Eleideth Hernandez and Ismael Negrete. She was a precious sister to Jonathan Negrete, Ivy Negrete, Guadalupe Negrete, and Karla Negrete, who will all carry her memory in their hearts forever. The family also mourns the loss alongside the memory of her beloved grandmother, Juana Villanueva, who preceded her in death.

The visitation for Infant Maelis will be held on June 12, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home, located at 3368 AL Hwy 205 N, Albertville, Alabama 35950. This will be followed by a burial service at the same location at 10:45 a.m., where family and friends may come together to honor and remember this precious life taken too soon.

During this profoundly difficult time, the family’s strength and unity stand as a testament to their love for Maelis. While words can scarcely express the sorrow felt, the presence and support of loved ones provide a measure of comfort.
