Glenn Edward Pell, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 23 2024, at Marshall Manor Nursing Home in Guntersville Al. Born on March 31, 1940, in Tennessee, Glenn lived a life marked by dedication to his family and service to his country. Marshall Memorial Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
Glenn proudly served in the United States Army, retiring after 27 years of distinguished service. His commitment to duty and his country exemplified the values he held dear throughout his life.
He was the cherished husband of Cleta Pell and a devoted father to his children: Allen Pell (Susan), Kim Sanders, and Jennifer Kilgo (Robert). Glenn also held a special fondness for his late daughter, LeeAnn Hoyle, who preceded him in death. He was a proud brother to Louis Pell (Sharron) and sister Mary Todd (Corby) and an uncle to his nephews Brian Pell, Chris Pell, James Todd, and Jacky Todd, as well as his niece Debra Todd. Glenn’s legacy also extends to his nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry forward his memory and the love he shared with them.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on December 2, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service celebrating Glenn's life at 1:00 PM, both taking place at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home located at 3368 AL Hwy 205 N, Albertville, AL 35950.
As we remember Glenn Edward Pell, let us honor his life of service, love, and compassion that touched the hearts of those around him. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
