Eloise Simpson Ogle

Eloise Simple Ogle, 89, beloved mother, grandmother and sister, passed away May 22nd, 2025, at Crossville Health and Rehab.

The family will hold a celebration of Eloise’s life at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home at 2:00 pm on May 28th, 2025, with Brother Bobby Waddle officiating and Randy L Knott reading the obituary. A family reading will be done by Sierra Bryan. Burial will follow in Marshall Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be: Jerry Bryan; Jeremy Bryan; Kerry Simpson; Timmy Simpson; Joseph Martin; Christopher Martin; Ethan Foster and Jordan Foster. Honorary Pallbearer will be James Edwards.

Eloise is preceded in death by her parents George and Pirley May Gunter; husbands Nolen Simpson & Vircie Ogle; Daughter Alice Edwards; Son Jesse Simpson; Brothers Thelma and Gene Gunter; and sisters Mozell Rice and Irene Armstrong.

Affectionally known as Granny, Eloise loved quilting and crocheting hand made gifts for others to enjoy. She loved visiting with family and remembering days of old.

Eloise’s family would like to thank the staff of Crossville Health and Rehab for their dedicated care as well as Shepards Cove Hospice for their comfort and compassion.

Left to treasure her memory: her son Dan Simpson; her grandchildren Diane Bryan (Jerry); James Edwards (Tammy); Brittney Bouldin; Jessica Martin-Knott (Randy); Abby Simpson; and James Foster. Great-Grandchildren: Jeremy Bryan (Sierra); Lexi Adkins (Colton); Lainie Ogle; Joseph; Bailey; Christopher and Emma Martin; Jordan, Ethan, Jace and Joslyn Foster. Great-great grandchildren Asher and Axel Adkins; Brothers John, Ed, Troy (Shirley) and Denis Gunter and sister-in-law Judy Gunter.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until the start of the service.
