Dorothy Marie Bozarth, age 90, passed away on January 20, 2026, at Crossville Nursing Home.
Dorothy was born in Oklahoma to the late Tony and Sylvia Dunn. Throughout her life, she was known for her strong work ethic, having worked as both a seamstress and a waitress. No matter the job, she poured herself into it with care and dedication.
A woman of deep faith, Dorothy loved Jesus and lived her life rooted in her Pentecostal beliefs. Her faith guided her daily and was evident in the love and kindness she showed to others.
Dorothy found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved watching westerns, playing cards—especially rummy—and if no one was around to join her, she was perfectly content playing solitaire. She also had a musical gift and taught herself to play the piano by ear, a talent that brought comfort and happiness to those who heard her play.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Bozarth; her sons, Henry Bozarth and Calvin Bozarth; and her parents, Tony and Sylvia Dunn.
She is survived by her children, Dennis Bozarth, Tim Bozarth, and Anna Fugatt; daughters-in-law, Beverly Bozarth and Kelly Bozarth; 20 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly.
Funeral services will be held at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., with Brothers Michael Marsh and Larry Perkins officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the start of the service.
Pallbearers will be Jordan, Tyler, Michael, Quinton, Aubrey, and Alec. Honorary pallbearers will be Henry Jr., Derrick, Charles, and Jeremy.
Dorothy will be remembered for her unwavering faith, gentle spirit, and the quiet ways she brought comfort and love into the lives of those around her. Her legacy lives on through the many generations she leaves behind.
