Dorothy Allen

Dorothy Allen, 66, of Rainbow City passed away Saturday, January 23rd, 2021 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.  Marshall Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Lester and Betty Allen.

Dorothy was born in New York, but moved to Alabama where she lived the majority of her adult life.  She was a home health aid, until she was unable to work anymore.  In her spare time, she could be found playing music and fishing.

She is survived by her loving husband James Tress; her son Virgle James Murray and his son James Hetherington; her daughter Wenona J. Wade and her spouse Suzie; her brothers William and Sheryl Allen , Lawrence Allen; her sisters Barbara Corey and Mori Baker; grandchildren Justin and Memorie Tress;  and his 2 children Serenity and Alex; Brandon and Danee Huston, Danielle Murray and Ashlee, Sabrina McDonald and Josh.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
