In Loving Memory of Donald Wade Keeton October 13, 1940 – August 27, 2025 Donald Wade Keeton,
age 84, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2025, surrounded by those who loved him dearly. Born on
October 13, 1940, to Harvey and Opal Keeton, Donald lived a life full of heart, humor, and hard work.
Donald is preceded in death by his beloved parents and siblings—Garland Keeton, Gail Baker, Buddy
Keeton, Robert Keeton, Glenn Keeton, Quinn Keeton, Bill Keeton, and Sherry Ann Keeton—as well as
his cherished grandson, Andrew Ledbetter. He is survived by the love of his life and devoted wife,
Deborah Keeton, and by his children: Robyn Keeton, Paul Keeton, Chris Keeton (Debbie), Jimmy Ray
Ledbetter (Annette), Robbie Ledbetter (Ruthie), Kem Lipscomb (Hunter), and Bobby Ledbetter (Angie).
He also leaves behind a legacy of love in his grandchildren: Lex Keeton, Krissanna Epley, Shane
Lipscomb (Ashlyn), Meagan Henderson, Amber Brock (Chris), Azia Murillo (Frank), and Emilee Ledbetter
(Logan); and his great-grandchildren: Kessa Epley, Jake Epley, Khloe Lipscomb, Avery Lipscomb, Cason
Meadows, Kyleigh Meadows, Dawson Henderson, Leeland Henderson, Nova Murillo, and Noah Murillo.
He is also survived by Dale Gentle, the mother of Robyn, Paul and Chris and sister-in-law Carolyn
Keeton. Donald proudly served his country in the United States Army and later continued serving others
through a life marked by generosity, laughter, and devotion to family. He had a knack for “piddling” — if
there was something to tinker with or build, Donald was outside working with his hands, always with
purpose and joy. He was known far and wide for his phenomenal biscuits, often shared with family and
friends who knew that love was baked into every bite. A man with a mischievous streak and a sharp wit,
Donald could turn a telemarketing call into a hilarious story. He was quick with a joke and always ready to
make others laugh. Above all, Donald adored his wife, Deborah, and took every opportunity to spoil her—
his way of showing how deeply he cared. Family was the center of Donald’s world. His home was a place
of comfort, love, and the kind of wisdom that only comes from a life well-lived. His faith was a guiding
light, and he was a proud member of Gethsemane Church, where he found fellowship and spiritual
strength. Pallbearers honoring Donald’s life will be Tony Warren, Gary Ashley, Walter Baker, George
Payne, Cody Jordan, and Robert Coppett. A visitation will be held at 12:30 PM, followed by a funeral
service at 2:00 PM in the chapel at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rock Springs
cemetery. All who knew and loved Donald are welcome to attend and celebrate the life of a truly
remarkable man. Though he has left this earthly home, the warmth of Donald’s love, laughter, and legacy
will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.
