Charles Greer JR

Charles Greer JR, 58, of Albertville, passed away on Wednesday, December 4th, 2024, at Huntsville Hospital with his devoted family by his side. Marshall Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Funeral Services will be held at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 10th, 2024, with burial following in Marshall Memorial Gardens.  Brother Johnny Morrow will officiate.

Charles was preceded in death by his son Adam Shea and his chosen son Jody Patterson.

Mr. Greer was born and raised in Marshall County. He worked as a manager at Alatrade until he was unable to work. 

He loved being around his kids and grandkids. He enjoyed spending time with the grandkids spoiling them. He loved his dog Jade, and she followed him around the house.

He loved to spend time outdoors and in his free time, he could be found hunting. He loved to watch Auburn football.

Charles is survived by his loving wife Tammy; his children Chad Greer; Britney Stevenson; and Chance Henry; his chosen children Cody Patterson; Cara Ferguson and Jessica Patterson; 15 grandchildren; his parents Charles and Rita Greer and his siblings Chris Greer and Suzanne Phillips and his adoring fur baby Jade.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to their GoFundMe page or to Marshall Memorial Funeral Home to help with funeral arrangements.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm on Tuesday until the start of the service.
