Catherine Marie Chaney

Catherine Marie Chaney, 88, passed away at Marshall Manor on Sunday, August 25th , 2024. Marshall

Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday at

12:00 pm on August 28th , 2024, with Brother Tim Tarvin officiating.

Catherine was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Chaney; her children Kathy Chaney; Rebbeca

Murray, her parents John and Louise Christian; her siblings James, Christian, Charles Christian, Nell

Campbell, Pam Christian and Johnnie Ruth Christian.

Mrs. Chaney was a loving, caring Godly woman who loved the Lord and her church. She loved cooking

for her family, growing flowers and tending to her garden. She enjoyed spending all her free time with

her kids and grandkids.

Catherine is survived by her loving children Ronnie Chaney; Tyra Tarvin and Regina Chaney; her sister

Betty Christian and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home from 10:00 pm until the start of the

service on Wednesday.
