Brian Keith Buttram, 55, of Guntersville passed away early Sunday morning at Shepard’s Cove Hospice. Marshall Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Funeral Services will be held at 4pm on Wednesday, December 18th, 2024, at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Marshall Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Zachary Davis; Thaddeus Payton; Craig Reynolds; Dave Bischoff; Ashley Harrell; Mike Simpson and honorary pallbearer Matt Simpson.
Brian was preceded in death by his father Wallace “Sonny” Buttram; his sister Tammy Buttram; his grandparents and aunts and uncles.
Brian was born and raised in Marshall County. Brian worked for Progress Rail for 20 years and then started working in Human Resources at Summit Financial.
He met and married the love of his live Jennifer and when their son Tyler was born, their family was complete. He loved spending time with his family, but spending quality time with his son Tyler was his favorite thing to do.
Brian loved spending time outdoors hunting. He was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed showing off pictures of his “wins”.
He loved the rodeo and introduced Tyler to his love of the rodeo. He loved watching Auburn play football and was a huge fan.
In his spare time, he enjoyed working on Vintage Broncos.
Brian is survived by his adoring wife Jennifer; his precious son Tyler; his mother Dianne Buttram; his brother Joey Copeland (Aundie); his sister Lynn McConnell (Joel); his in-laws Johnny and Shelia Simpson and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm on Wednesday until the start of the service.
