Aubrey Glenn Smith

Aubrey Glenn Smith, born August 9, 1946, in Alabama, passed away on October 21, 2026. Glenn passed away at the age of 80 years old at home surrounded by his loved ones.

Glenn built his working life as a construction worker and heavy equipment operator. It was honest, demanding work, the kind that leaves its mark not only on the land but also on the character of the person doing it. His life reflected that same steadiness and strength.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Jonell Smith; his father, Herbert Glenn Smith; his mother, Wanda Irene Terry; and his stepfather, William David Terry.

Glenn leaves behind a family and circle of loved ones who will carry his memory forward with affection. He is survived by his sister, Sandra Smith Pix, and his brother, Kenneth Neil Terry. He is also survived by his beloved companion, Wanda Holt, and her daughter, Amy Green, who shared an important place in his life.

His memory will live on in his children, Troy Alan Smith (Angela), Brian Henry Smith (Natasha), and Brenda Kaye Wildhagen (Paul). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Tyler Smith (Taylor), Trevor Smith (Elyssa), Jordan Smith ( Haley), Hunter Smith, McKenna Smith, Aubrey Smith, Kylee Smith Bradford (Seth), Jaden Smith, Hannah Wildhagen, Sydney Wildhagen, and Ensleigh Moore. He is further survived by his great-grandchildren, Hanley, Haegan, Ridge, and Lizzie Jane. May the love he gave them remain a lasting comfort, and may his memory continue to be a blessing in their lives. His memory will live on in the host of the many nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.
