Teresa L Parris

Funeral services will be Sunday June 23rd, 2019 at 2:00 pm for Teresa L Parris, 52, of Boaz, at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home.  Burial will follow immediately after in Marshall Memory Gardens.

Teresa was preceded in death by her father William C. Truett.

Teresa lit up the room when she entered with her infectious laugh and her huge smile.  She was usually the center of attention because her personality drew people to her.

She was a strong independent woman who stood on her own 2 feet and raised her children to be as strong as she was. 

She enjoyed spending time with the great love of her life Marty, her two children Ashley and Dylan and her beautiful granddaughters Aliyah and Emerson.

She is survived by her loving friend Marty Tidwell; her daughter Ashley Harris and husband Michael; son Dylan and wife Brittany Tidwell; granddaughters Aliyah and Emerson Hollingsworth; mother Joyce Parker; brothers David, Billy, Stevie and Paul Truett and her sisters Barbara Burgess, Peggy McDaniel and Janet McDowell.

The family will receive friends at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home on Sunday, June 23rd, 2019 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Marshall Memorial Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
