Phillip Fortney Obituary

Mr. Phillip Fortney, 83 of Guntersville, AL passed away in Albertville, AL on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.

Mr. Fortney was born to his parents in New Castle, PA, John Raymond and Nell Elaine Bowles Fortney.

Mr. Fortney work as a carpenter before retiring.

He was predeceased by his wife, Gloria Gail (Bailey)Fortney and his parents, John Raymond and Nell Elaine Bowels Fortney.

Mr. Fortney is survived by brother Donald Fortney of Edinburg, PA and sister Darlene McKnight of Youngstown, OH, a host of nieces and nephews and special nieces Kimberly Cofield and Zyanna Kelly of Horton, AL. Mr. Fortney had no children. He was laid to rest December 31, 2018.
