Alexis May Robinson

Alexis May Robinson, 16, passed away on Sunday, August 18th, 2019 in Cook County.  Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 pm, Thursday August 22nd, 2019 at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals, in the Chapel.  Reverend Rickey Wells will officiate.  Burial will follow immediately afterwards at Summers Chapel Cemetery.

Alexis was preceded in death by her sister Ellie Stuckey.

Alexis was born on July 16th, 2003 in Tifton and was a lifelong resident.  She was a Junior at Tift County High School where she was a good student and a fun-loving friend to her peers. 

Alexis dreamed of becoming a veterinarian when she finished high school.  Her dream started when her puppy attacked a chicken.  She took fishing wire and stitched the chicken up, nursed it back to health and the chicken is still living today. 

Horses were another one of her passions.  She could be found riding, feeding or taking care of horses in her spare time.  She simply loved all animals.

She was also an avid dirt bike rider and enjoyed racing.  Her biggest competitor was her father Eddie and the competitions were fierce but loving.  She was a tomboy who enjoyed the outdoors, often riding 4 wheelers with her friends.

Alexis is survived by her parents Jessie Robinson Jr of Tifton, Kristie Harris Stuckey and Eddie Stuckey of Tifton; sisters Katelyn Robinson, Jessica Robinson and Chloe Stuckey of Tifton; her grandparents Ted Harris, Faye Wilson, Earl Robinson and Kathy Bowers; aunts Hope Jackson of Arab, AL, Tammy Hancock of Tifton and Tashla Purvis of Tifton; and her uncles Jason Harris of Tifton; Allen Saint of Arab AL, Lamar Saint of Arab AL, and Thomas Saint of Arab, AL.

Family will receive friends Wednesday August 21st, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
